Over the last 35 years and since the age of 17 I’ve made my living working in television, film and photography.

My chosen career has spanned many areas of pre-production, production and for the most part post production. Out of this work came 4 Emmy Awards plus countless great memories and adventures. I've both met and worked with loads of amazing people along the way, many who've been a huge inspiration to me.

I've always had a passion for watching things being built or torn apart and years ago I started to visually document the process using both time-lapse photography and stills. For a kid who walked away from school at the end of Grade 12 I feel extremely fortunate to have gotten where I have.

Besides Concrete Pictures I have two other successful businesses in operation. The fist being Pclix, Pclix designs, manufactrues and sells worldwide camera triggers for time-lapse photography and video recording using Digital SLR cameras. The other designs, codes and distrubutes iPhone applications worldwide through all of Apple's 150 iTunes Stores, the first being One Day at a Timer. This app helps people take back control of addictions.

With an enormous fascination of the construction and demolition industries, I decided to use my expertise in Television Production, and cement these worlds - merging them together.

I was born in Sudbury, Ontario - home to the Big Nickel. My father and grandfather were miners that instilled a strong work ethic in me. While obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia, I was introduced to the construction industry working for Southwest Contracting Ltd.

Feeling the need to explore my other passion, I graduated from the Television Production program at Seneca College in Toronto. For the past 7 years, I have been the Series Editor and Producer for the Gemini Award winning series, 'Mantracker'.

During production breaks, I was fortunate to be hired to document several amazing projects including Terminal 1 at Pearson International Airport, the renovation of Maple Leaf Gardens, and the restoration of Toronto's historic St.Michael's Cathedral.  During this period, I became heavily involved in archive and time-lapse photography.

Watching things being built and demolished is an incredible thing,  and documenting the process has become my passion.
