PAUL CORMACK (Partner, Commercial Drone Pilot, Graphic Designer, Cameraman, Editor, Time-Lapse Specialist, Photographer) As far back as I can remember, I've had a passion for watching things being built up or torn down. This passion inspired me to learn how to document construction and demolition using time-lapse, video and still photography. A skill set which supported me throught over 35 years in television, photography and film, in a career spanning all aspects of production from pre- through post-. During that time, I've met, worked with and been inspired by a long list of amazing people. I've also won 4 Emmy awards for my work in Television, embarked on countless great adventures and come away with a lifetime of wonderful memories. Not bad for a Grade 12 education.
JONATHON STEWART (Partner, Producer, Commercial Drone Pilot, Cameraman, Editor, Time-Lapse Specialist, Photographer) Whatever construction and demolition, and television have in common, I have it in spades. I first worked in construction while earning my B.Sc. at the University of British Columbia. Then, inspired by my other passion, I graduated from the Television Production program at Seneca College in Toronto. This led to my role as Series Editor and Producer of the OLN series, 'Mantracker.' During breaks in production for that Gemini Award winning show, I pursued oppertunities to document several amazing construction projects, including: Terminal 1 at Pearson International Airport, the renovation of Maple Leaf Gardens, and the restoration of St. Michael's Cathedral - becoming heavily involved in archive and time-lapse photography along the way. Since then, I've turned watching and documenting things being bult or demilished into a full time career.
TAYLOR NESS (Editor, Graphic Designer, Compositor, Drone Pilot, Cameraman) I’ve been going to film and television sets for a long as I can remember. Experiencing this world of cinema at such young age led me follow in the same footsteps as my family. From making short films in elementary school and high school to graduating from the Ryerson film program in 2019, my skillset ranges from high end film and digital cinematography to editing, colour grading, VFX, and DIT work. With hundreds of hours of experience logged both behind the camera and in the edit bay, I have more than enough tools at my disposal to do what I love, create films.
PAIGE BRADY (Production Design, Writer, Editor, Data Management) 'Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for storytelling'. I went to Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies. During my time at TMU, I discovered my fascination for set design. I decided to focus my energy on the meticulous elements in a set that creates a world to support a narrative. This interest led to me working towards a Certificate in Design for Arts and Entertainment. As I am passionate about production design, I also am incredibly interested in writing stories which pushed me towards writing and directing a short film for my thesis project. As I focus my career on production design (working in the art department on many productions, ranging from short films to commercials to series), I enjoy bringing my talents and knowledge to any aspect of content creation.’
